About Bioness Medical
Bioness Medical supplies neurorehabilitation technology used across clinical therapy and patient mobility programmes. Its portfolio includes the Vector Gait and Safety System, Bioness Integrated Therapy System, L300 Go and H200 Wireless, covering supported gait training, balance work and functional electrical stimulation for upper- and lower-extremity rehabilitation.
The company became an independent Accelmed-backed organisation at the end of 2024 and acquired Harmonic Bionics’ assets and business in June 2025. That transaction added a bilateral upper-extremity robotic exoskeleton designed to move with scapulohumeral rhythm during arm and shoulder therapy. Bioness stated that the robotic system would join its commercial portfolio after regulatory clearance, so the profile distinguishes the acquired robotics programme from products already available to clinicians.

Events
- 2026-09-09 - Partnership - Bioness Medical and OneStep partner on mobility rehabilitation data
The integration gives clinicians more than 30 gait and mobility parameters during assessments and everyday life without a dedicated wearable. The first phase includes OneStep access with each new L300 Go or Portable Neuromodulation Stimulator purchase. Bioness reported a 300-patient evaluation in which the combined workflow measured changes in walking speed, stride length, gait symmetry, variability and overall walk scores.
Source - 2025-06-18 - Acquisition - Bioness Medical acquires Harmonic Bionics assets and business
The acquired system is a bilateral upper-extremity robotic exoskeleton designed to work with scapulohumeral rhythm during arm and shoulder therapy. Bioness said the platform is intended for patients with mobility and function deficits following conditions such as stroke and traumatic brain injury. The system was awaiting regulatory clearance and was positioned to complement Bioness Vector, BITS and BITS Balance technologies.
