About Attabotics
Attabotics develops a cube-based automated storage and retrieval system for fulfilment facilities. AttaBot robots move horizontally and vertically inside a dense modular structure, retrieve bins directly and deliver them to presentation stations. Proprietary software sequences robot movement, inventory and order flow while connecting to warehouse-management systems.
LaFayette Systems acquired the Attabotics technology in September 2025 and restarted operations in February 2026. The Calgary facility continues to house engineering, business and manufacturing functions, supported by staff retained from the earlier company. The business continues to develop, deploy and support the Attabotics storage architecture under the Attabotics brand.

reviewed 2026-07-20 - Attabotics sought Canadian insolvency protection in 2025 after running out of operating cash. LaFayette Systems acquired the technology and announced a 2026 restart using a mix of legacy staff and material-handling veterans, with the Calgary site continuing and support framed as part of the new ownership. The cube-storage technology and brand resumed, but this was a post-insolvency restart under a new financial and operating base, not uninterrupted survival of the former company.
