Lucid Bots launched Power Tether, a ground-powered continuous-flight system for Sherpa cleaning and spraying drones.

  • The air module mounts in the Sherpa battery bay and the ground station connects to a compatible generator; installation takes less than 15 minutes on Sherpa Drone 1 or 1.5.
  • A headquarters test kept a Power Tether-equipped Sherpa airborne for eight hours and 48 seconds on one generator connection with no battery swaps.
  • Lucid reported more than 8,760 cumulative flight hours across 600-plus connected Sherpa drones as of August 17; that fleet total is not a single continuous or exclusively tether-powered flight.
