About IMSystems
IMSystems is a TU Delft spinout focused on precision speed reduction for robotic actuators. The Archimedes Drive transmits torque through smooth hollow rollers in compound planetary traction contact, avoiding gear teeth and flexsplines while retaining a central bore and customizable reduction ratios.
The Synovial Series is available as a component set and an orderable development kit for integration and test work. IMSystems targets humanoid and mobile-manipulator joints as well as industrial, medical and agricultural robotics. The company develops the technology in the Netherlands and is backed by ABB Technology Ventures, Linamar, Finindus and InnovationQuarter.

The display included Delta-15 and Delta-250 extreme-duty drives, a development kit and component sets. Continuous traction contact provides true zero backlash, high efficiency and overload protection. The reducers target robotic joints and precision automation systems.

Linamar and Finindus joined the investor consortium, with InnovationQuarter also providing new capital. Linamar committed to become the manufacturing source once the design is proven and production requires scale-up.
