About
About RLWRLD
RLDX-1 is a dexterity-first foundation model built around five-finger manipulation rather than gripper-only motion. Its multimodal policy processes vision and language together with force, tactile contact and working-memory signals, allowing robot hands to coordinate contact timing and torque during precise industrial tasks.
RLWRLD develops the model from task data collected with industry partners and is building shared dexterity infrastructure around it. The company introduced RLDX-1 in 2026 alongside DexBench and humanoid-data standards intended to compare manipulation performance across hands and robot embodiments. Operations span the United States, South Korea and Japan, with the current programme centred on model and data development rather than a proprietary humanoid body.

The trial is scheduled for October 15–16 on Otemachi Nakadori during WELLNESS WEEKS. Robots will use the RLDX-1 foundation model; empty containers will be collected from designated table positions. RLWRLD will provide the robots and handle prechecks, monitoring and safety; Mitsubishi Estate supplies the venue and TMIP coordinates the programme.
Source - 2026-09-18 - Partnership - RLWRLD and CJ Logistics deepen logistics Physical AI partnership
CJ Logistics will define automation requirements and performance criteria using operating data from parcel, fulfilment and cold-chain workflows. RLWRLD will lead development of the robot foundation model and Physical AI software, including perception and action across multimodal sensor inputs. Planned field validation includes parcel-orientation work and collection of precise hand-motion data before broader picking, sorting and inspection use.

The robots insert cushioning material into shipping boxes during packing. The live system combines ROBOTIS hardware, Aidin Robotics hands and RLWRLD robot foundation-model technology. CJ plans to extend the programme toward picking, sorting, inspection and additional packing work; those tasks remain planned rather than deployed.

The programme records real work such as textile folding, warehouse handling and convenience-store tasks. The gloves capture finger articulation for teleoperation, simulation or dataset-collection pipelines. RLWRLD described a data-collection workflow without publishing purchase volumes or supplier exclusivity.
