SemiDrive develops automotive and embodied-intelligence semiconductors. For robotics, its R1 series serves high-level perception and decision workloads, the D9 series provides control-oriented processing, and E3-R microcontrollers target joints, dexterous hands, lidar and motion-control subsystems.
The company is tracked as a supporting-stack supplier rather than a robot builder. SemiDrive disclosed a near-US$100 million Series C in May 2026 and later said its C+ and C++ financings brought cumulative 2026 Series C funding to approximately RMB1 billion; the cumulative figure is not attributed to either later tranche individually.

SemiDrive will provide automotive-grade chips and edge computing for APAQI's next-generation robot platforms.
