Nationstech is a Shenzhen-based semiconductor company supplying microcontrollers, security chips and embedded-system solutions. Its N32 processors address industrial-control workloads as well as applications in robots, vehicles and edge devices. Robotics is one current application of a broader chip portfolio, with device-level control and communications divided across MCU cores where required.
In September 2026 Nationstech and the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology presented an integrated humanoid joint drive-control reference design built around the N32H785. The design combines motor control, dual encoders, communications and reducer integration for a robot-joint module; it is a reference solution, not evidence that complete humanoid robots are being manufactured by Nationstech.

The design integrates motor control, dual absolute encoders, communications and a reducer into a compact joint module. Its Cortex-M7 core handles FOC and position, speed and torque loops while the Cortex-M4F core handles CAN FD, EtherCAT and serial communications. Bench testing reported 20 N·m rated torque, 60 N·m peak torque and a 20 kHz current loop.
