About TrinaTracker
TrinaTracker develops solar tracking systems and engineering services within Trina Solar. Its existing tracker business covers project design, installation and operations support across utility-scale photovoltaic sites. In September 2026 the unit added two self-developed robots to that portfolio: BUILDEX for placing solar modules and AURORA for autonomous panel cleaning.
These robots address different phases of a solar farm’s lifecycle, from construction to maintenance. Their launch establishes a current robotics product line inside a larger solar-hardware unit; it does not by itself establish deployed fleet scale or a stand-alone legal company separate from Trina Solar.

- 2026-09-24 - Product Launch - TrinaTracker launches BUILDEX installation robot and AURORA cleaning robot
BUILDEX uses 3D vision and mechanical control to pick, transport, align and place modules at a stated rate of up to 90 modules per hour. Its height-adjustable base supports fixed and tracking structures, portrait and landscape modules, and platform levelling on slopes up to 17 degrees. AURORA uses route planning, environmental inputs and self-correction to perform unattended recurring panel cleaning.
