About International Datacasting

International Datacasting supplies hardware, software and engineering for secure distribution of data, audio and video. Its IP encapsulators connect IP networks to satellite-broadcast systems, while receivers deliver content to local servers over Ethernet. The range includes encryption, conditional access, network management and file-delivery software for broadcast, enterprise and government networks.

Its Datacast XD software distributes files over multicast-enabled satellite and VSAT networks. Novra Group’s engineering services adapt existing equipment and develop custom solutions for satellite, terrestrial and hybrid communications. International Datacasting operates from Kanata, Ontario, as a Novra subsidiary. In October 2026 it qualified for all five streams of Canada’s Defence Drone Initiative Marketplace, giving it access to compete for uncrewed-system communications, integration, testing and innovation work; each project remains subject to procurement and contract award.
