RFDesign designs and manufactures long-range radio modems, antennas and interface hardware for unmanned vehicles and industrial communications. Its RFD900 and RFD868 families provide serial data links in regional 900- and 868-megahertz bands, with compact UX variants for aircraft where size and weight are constrained.
The modems support MAVLink telemetry, hardware-accelerated AES encryption and optional RC passthrough, with peer-to-peer, multipoint and asynchronous networking firmware. RFDesign also supplies transmitter modules, Pixhawk cables, USB interfaces and DIN-rail I/O hardware. Products are designed, tested and inspected in Australia, with region-specific regulatory versions and integration documentation.
