About EdgeTech

EdgeTech traces its underwater-instrument heritage to the EG&G Marine Instruments division and became a private company under the EdgeTech name in 1995. Its West Wareham facility includes test pools, acoustic tanks, pressure chambers and research vessels used to calibrate and trial sonar and acoustic equipment before delivery.

The portfolio spans side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profilers, bathymetry systems, acoustic releases and vehicle-integrated packages. The modular 2205 can be installed on AUVs, UUVs, ROVs and surface vehicles and configured for side-scan imagery, sub-bottom profiles or bathymetric data. The smaller Trace OEM sonar targets micro-UUVs, small ROVs and shallow-water USVs. An EdgeTech 2205 is also fitted to the Teledyne Gavia AUV delivered for SEA360 operations.
