About Tianpeng Power
Tianpeng focuses on cylindrical lithium-ion cells spanning high-rate and higher-capacity formats, including NCA chemistry and 18650 and 21700 families. Its engineering work covers cell selection, application matching and high-volume manufacturing for small-power systems used in tools, mobility products, home equipment and newer robotic platforms.
The company was established in Zhangjiagang in 2006 and is wholly owned by Jiangsu Azure. It has expanded from Chinese plants into a Malaysian manufacturing site and says cumulative exports exceed three billion cells across more than 50 countries. Tianpeng has supplied Unitree since 2020, while its parent has also described batch shipments into several leading robot supply chains without naming the other customers.

- 2025-04-29 - Facility Opening - Tenpower opens its first overseas battery-cell factory in Malaysia
The 48-acre site has approximately 400 million cells per year of first-phase capacity. Most capacity is intended for overseas supply chains once full production is reached. Molicel general manager Casey Hsueh attended the opening and announced cooperation with Tenpower.
