About Molicel
E-One Moli Energy Corporation was established in 1998 and operates the Molicel brand within Taiwan Cement Corporation. The company develops and manufactures cylindrical lithium-ion cells, with product families tuned for high power, high energy or a balance of both. Manufacturing and engineering are based in Taiwan and Canada, while the Taipei office supports the group structure and commercial operations.
Molicel sits upstream of vehicle and robot OEMs: customers design packs, thermal systems and battery management around its cells. Official application material identifies aviation, high-performance mobility and humanoid robotics, and supplier disclosures connect the company to advanced-air-mobility programmes. Announced applications progress through customer-specific qualification, pack configuration and committed-volume programmes before reaching production.

- 2025-04-29 - Facility Opening - Tenpower opens its first overseas battery-cell factory in Malaysia
The 48-acre site has approximately 400 million cells per year of first-phase capacity. Most capacity is intended for overseas supply chains once full production is reached. Molicel general manager Casey Hsueh attended the opening and announced cooperation with Tenpower.

Vertical said 60% of the prototype's technology came from strategic partners including GKN Aerospace, Hanwha, Honeywell, Leonardo, Molicel and Syensqo. The prototype introduced Vertical's proprietary battery technology and a 20% higher power-to-weight ratio, with a target cruise speed of up to 150 mph. Vertical planned to begin the flight-test programme after receiving a UK Civil Aviation Authority Permit to Fly.
