Funding rounds, acquisitions and other capital transactions across robotics, autonomous systems and their enabling technologies.

Major funding rounds

RMB1B; >RMB10B post-money valuationSeries B

DexForce closed a RMB1 billion Series B at a post-money valuation above RMB10 billion. Investors include Shenzhen Capital Group, Qianhai Mother Fund, Lens Technology, ICBC Capital and Hengjian Capital. Proceeds will fund world-model algorithms, simulation, data infrastructure and robot deployment.

The company combines its DexVerse physics engine with perception hardware, robot-control models and complete humanoid systems. Its strategy uses real and synthetic data to train robots before applying those policies to manufacturing, logistics and commercial tasks. DexForce reported more than 50 application scenarios and plans closer industrial collaboration with Lens Technology, linking model development to hardware manufacturing and customer sites.

~$100M / CAD$139MSeries A

Dominion Dynamics raised a CAD139 million Series A, approximately US$100 million, led by Georgian. The financing brings capital raised since its June 2025 launch to CAD169 million and supports the AuraNet command-and-control platform and Scout autonomous aircraft programme.

AuraNet combines sensor data, communications and mission tracking for operations in extreme environments, including a Canadian Armed Forces Arctic exercise. Scout is being developed to extend the reach of crewed fighter aircraft. Proceeds will also fund recruitment beyond 100 staff and manufacturing at a new 25,000-square-foot facility in Kanata, Ontario.

RMB4.20B proposed proceedsProposed STAR Market IPO

China’s securities regulator approved Unitree’s IPO registration on July 1, allowing the robot manufacturer to proceed with a proposed Shanghai STAR Market offering. The approval is valid for 12 months and requires issuance to follow the submitted prospectus and underwriting plan. Unitree’s proposed RMB4.20 billion fundraising remains an offering target at this edition’s date.

The prospectus allocates approximately RMB2.02 billion to intelligent-robot model research, RMB1.11 billion to robot hardware research, RMB445 million to new robot products and RMB624 million to a manufacturing base. Unitree develops humanoid and quadruped systems for research, industrial and consumer uses, with its in-house technology spanning robot hardware and control.

The May prospectus reports that humanoids generated 51.78% of 2025 product revenue, up from 27.68% in 2024. It also reports more than 5,500 humanoid shipments in 2025, explicitly excluding wheeled dual-arm robots. These operating disclosures explain the proposed investment in models, hardware and production capacity; they are separate from the proceeds of the planned IPO.
