  Hesai says WeRide robotaxis went live on Uber in Abu Dhabi in late 2024 and expanded to Dubai, with four Hesai LiDAR sensors serving as each vehicle’s primary long-range LiDAR. Pony.ai’s seventh-generation robotaxi fleet uses four Hesai AT-series LiDARs and was scheduled to begin Uber operations in the Middle East, while Momenta was preparing an initial European launch. The announcement shows Hesai-supported robotaxi services moving from pilots toward international commercial deployment across Uber’s Europe and Middle East platform; it covers multiple partner rollouts rather than one new Hesai product launch.
