About Accerion
Jupiter and Triton look downward at the floor and compare changing surface texture as a vehicle moves. The sensor calculates local displacement independently of wheel rotation, allowing the robot’s navigation system to correct slip and accumulated odometry error without installing magnetic tape or reflectors.
Jupiter targets higher-performance positioning, while Triton packages the same texture-vision principle into a smaller unit for compact AGVs and AMRs. The modules are integrated into the vehicle’s existing navigation stack rather than replacing its lidar or mapping system, providing an additional motion reference on ordinary industrial floors.
