About Adafruit
Directed Machines used an Adafruit inertial measurement unit as the sensor co-processor in its Land Care Robot. The module supplies motion data to the field machine alongside its main compute and control hardware.
Adafruit's wider developer ecosystem includes microcontrollers, sensors, displays, interface boards, tutorials and open designs that can be combined during prototyping. Robotics teams use that component-and-documentation model to evaluate embedded functions before moving to a custom board or production design.
