About Aerial Precision
AP-LiDAR-One combines a laser scanner, inertial measurement and GNSS data within a payload configured for platforms such as Freefly Astro and DJI Matrice aircraft. The sensor records range and motion during flight so the resulting point cloud can be placed accurately within a geographic coordinate system.
Aerial Precision’s workflow continues through field checking and processing software, including tools that allow initial results to be reviewed on an iPad before leaving the site. The company supplies integrated payloads and support rather than a bare lidar sensor, reducing the calibration and data-processing work required from survey operators.
