About Aethon
Aethon's delivery fleet separates cart-moving work from secure item delivery. TUG robots tow or carry hospital carts containing meals, linen, waste and supplies, while Zena and Zena RX use enclosed cabinets for medications, specimens, amenities and smaller goods that must be released to a named recipient.
Zena RX provides four independently locking compartments, biometric access and capacity of more than 164 litres, with a 45-kilogram payload and ten-hour runtime. The robots navigate corridors and nursing units, call lifts through hardware or software integrations, and return to charge autonomously. Aethon operates a support command centre and has deployed multi-robot hospital fleets, including a 24-unit installation at Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
