Agilis Robotics develops miniature flexible robotic instruments for endoluminal surgery. Devices measuring roughly 2.8 to 3.5 millimetres in diameter and up to 1.8 metres long are designed to travel through natural anatomical pathways and reach tumours in the urinary and gastrointestinal tracts.
The system gives surgeons articulated control beyond the reach of conventional rigid tools, supporting removal of early-stage cancers without external incisions. Agilis combines flexible mechanisms, controls and procedure-specific instruments and is advancing the platform through clinical and regulatory development.
