About Arda Industries
Arda Industries is a San Francisco company developing AI for manufacturing engineering. Its software converts CAD files, product requirements and other design information into assembly sequences, station layouts, tooling requirements and work instructions. Engineers review the resulting plans, while the system propagates design changes through the production workflow. The initial customer base spans defense manufacturing and the data-centre supply chain.
Anduril, its first design partner and customer, uses Arda within ArsenalOS manufacturing software. The companies report reductions in the time required to prepare instructions and complete engineering workflows. Arda is also prototyping agents that programme existing robots to execute assembly plans and adapt them when product designs change. That robotic execution remains under development, distinct from the manufacturing-planning software already used by customers. The company was founded in 2025 by Bob McGrew, Augustus Odena, Alex Mark and Jakob Frick.
