About Aurelius Systems
Aurelius Systems’ Archimedes combines optical sensing, machine-learning target detection and a high-power laser in a compact counter-UAS unit. The system is designed to detect, track and engage small aerial threats autonomously, replacing a sequence of separate sensors, command consoles and effectors with one closed-loop platform.
Archimedes can draw from grid, generator or battery power and switch between sources for field operation. Commercial off-the-shelf components are used to simplify production, maintenance and replacement, while multiple units can be networked as a persistent defensive grid around forces, facilities and critical infrastructure. Aurelius reports field operation in adverse weather and is working with American Rheinmetall on integration with robotic combat vehicles, extending the system from fixed-site protection into mobile ground formations.
