About Electro Optic Systems
Electro Optic Systems develops defence and space systems across several technical layers. Its defence catalogue includes Apollo and NiDAR counter-UAS systems, Slinger and Interceptor-MR, R-series remote weapon systems, high-energy laser weapons and R150 unmanned ground-vehicle lethality systems. Its space business covers optical tracking, satellite laser ranging, space-domain awareness and space sustainability.
These systems cover sensors, command-and-control, effectors, remote weapon stations and ground-based optical infrastructure. EOS says it has designed, manufactured and exported advanced systems for more than 40 years. Programme maturity and fielding differ by named system and contract.

MARSS NiDAR will coordinate detection and response to aerial and coastal maritime drone threats, integrating radar, electro-optical and sonar sensors. EOS expects more than 80% of contract revenue within 12–24 months after the contract becomes unconditional, with the balance associated with four years of support. Outstanding conditions include a £74 million bank guarantee, a £74 million customer advance and export licences.
