About Baumer
Baumer connects industrial measurement hardware with tools for commissioning and diagnosis. Baumer Sensor Suite lets engineers configure compatible sensors, see the effect of parameter changes and export measurement values for analysis. It supports IO-Link devices from different manufacturers and CANopen communication with Baumer sensors, allowing a common engineering interface across several instrument types.
IO-Link masters then connect those sensors and actuators to machine controllers and higher-level information systems. Device descriptions expose the structure of cyclic data so engineers can map readings into the control programme. The combination of sensors, connection hardware and configuration software supports tasks such as selecting an instrument, setting its response and checking its behaviour during machine operation.
