About Sensorik Austria
Sensorik Austria designs and manufactures optical and fibre-optic sensing systems in Lambach. Its polyIdent and tri²dent families use SWIR or multi-wavelength measurement to identify organic materials, while SensoWeb sensors measure moisture and monitor web breaks, edges and splices in continuous production. The company also supplies fibre-optic presence sensors for high-temperature, contaminated and ATEX environments, plus non-contact speed and distance instruments.
The systems are used in paper, metals, mechanical engineering, plastics, ceramics and crane applications. By August 2026, Sensorik Austria said its equipment had been installed on more than 300 paper machines. Its commercial model combines direct engineering with regional sales and technical-support partners, including exclusive representation in China and an authorised distributor covering the eastern and southern United States.
