About CATUAV

CATUAV connects aircraft engineering with the practical work required to test a new aerial application. Its team develops custom airframes, integrates and calibrates payloads, and writes software ranging from embedded protocol interfaces to remote-sensing applications. It also develops operating procedures around the resulting system.

Being based inside BCN Drone Center gives the engineering team access to flight-test facilities during development. Its research portfolio includes remote-piloting interfaces, identification and position reporting for U-space, and navigation work for parcel-transport concepts. Customers can commission a complete custom UAS or a narrower integration project using an existing aircraft, with testing used to evaluate the design before a market launch.
