About Oryx

CATUAV Oryx is a fixed-wing unmanned aircraft designed for long-endurance aerial mapping and remote-sensing missions. The aircraft has a three-metre wingspan, a 2.27-metre length and a maximum takeoff weight of 22 kilograms. It can carry up to 7.5 kilograms of mission payload.

Published specifications state endurance of up to 26 hours and a maximum speed of 130 kilometres per hour. The payload allowance supports survey sensors selected for a mission, while achieved endurance depends on payload, weather and flight profile. This profile describes the exact Oryx aircraft and does not transfer specifications from other CATUAV platforms.
