Chord Robotics develops TEMPO, open-standards command software for coordinating mixed fleets of uncrewed aircraft, ground vehicles and surface vessels. A single interface assigns missions, synchronises vehicles and payloads, and retasks assets as conditions or platform availability change. Distributed decision-making reduces continuous operator input while retaining human command of mission objectives.
TEMPO supports reconnaissance, perimeter security, collaborative targeting and other multi-domain operations over constrained or contested communications. Its modular interfaces connect existing vehicles and payloads, while resilience functions reallocate tasks after a vehicle fails or is lost. Chord reports validation across more than 174 platforms, including at least 13 UAV, five UGV and two USV types during major defence demonstrations, establishing the software as a cross-vendor orchestration layer.
