Dusty's FieldPrint Platform connects Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD models to the FieldPrinter 2, Dusty Portal and an operator's iPad. Project teams prepare and coordinate print layers in the office, then a single field operator aligns the robot to survey control and prints wall lines, labels, points, sequencing notes and QR codes directly onto the slab.
FieldPrinter 2 combines laser-tracker positioning with computer vision and obstacle sensing, maintaining layout accuracy to one-sixteenth of an inch. It prints continuous lines at up to 2.5 feet per second and supports hot-swappable batteries. The platform also provides real-time job reporting and beta floor-elevation measurement for slab surveys.
