About Exosens
Exosens combines technologies that amplify very weak signals with cameras that capture different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum. Image intensifiers support low-light observation, while infrared products address reflected shortwave light or heat emitted by objects. Instrument detectors extend the business into scientific measurement and nuclear monitoring, giving equipment manufacturers several sensing technologies to incorporate into their systems.
The group brings these capabilities together across product lines historically sold under Photonis, Xenics, Emberion and El-Mul. In May 2026, it announced a gradual transition to a common Exosens brand. Customers can source detection components or imaging products and work with the group on application-specific configurations, rather than needing to develop the underlying detector technology.
