About FORMOVE GmbH
FORMOVE records human movement and object interaction through a sensor-equipped wearable capture system. Its pipeline combines motion, pose and interaction data from people performing physical work in real environments, then synchronises, labels and structures the sessions. This allows robotics developers to collect examples beyond a laboratory and preserve the sequence of actions that produced a completed task.
An AI-based Human2Robot retargeting layer converts human demonstrations into trajectories compatible with a selected robot embodiment. The resulting dataset can be used for imitation learning, policy training or evaluation without requiring every example to be teleoperated directly on the final machine. FORMOVE combines centralised capture with distributed collection strategies, giving customers a route to expand training data across operators, objects and environments while retaining a robot-specific action representation.

The European Commission signed FORMOVE's EUR300,000 EIC grant agreement on July 3. The funded project will build a robot-agnostic pipeline for human-motion and interaction data. CORDIS lists project work from September 2026 through May 2027.
