About Kognic
Kognic provides a purpose-built environment for creating and managing perception data across camera, lidar and radar inputs. Its platform supports object annotation, sensor fusion, planning and end-to-end driving datasets, with more than 90 automated quality checks used to detect inconsistent geometry, labels and sensor relationships before material enters a training pipeline.
Customers can operate the software themselves, use Kognic’s managed annotation workforce or combine both models. Language Grounding extends the workflow to vision-language and vision-language-action development by connecting natural-language concepts to scenes and objects. Kognic reports more than 100 million completed annotations across over 120 projects for automotive manufacturers, suppliers and autonomy developers.

Events
- 2026-02-27 - Product Launch - Kognic launches Language Grounding for driving models
The capability targets causal reasoning for autonomous-driving decisions. Workflows include original writing, editing model proposals and ranking outputs. Kognic also introduced a Chain of Causation method designed to limit hindsight bias.
