About Gpixel
Gpixel was founded in 2012 by CMOS image-sensor designers and semiconductor physicists and is headquartered in Changchun, China. The fabless company operates design and support centres in China, Belgium, Japan and other markets, and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in April 2026 under stock code 3277. It develops standard and customised sensors while using external semiconductor manufacturing partners for volume production.
The company sits upstream of cameras and perception systems. Global-shutter and high-frame-rate devices serve industrial inspection and motion capture; low-light, SWIR and time-of-flight families extend into surveillance, three-dimensional sensing and drone imaging. Gpixel supplies the sensor die and related design support rather than complete robotic perception stacks. Korthos therefore tracks its robotics exposure through named applications and supply evidence, without attributing downstream camera, autonomy or deployment revenue to Gpixel.
