About Husarnet
Husarnet provides peer-to-peer networking for robots and distributed machines. Its software creates an encrypted virtual network interface on each device, allowing ROS and ROS 2 nodes, operator stations and cloud services to communicate across Wi-Fi, Ethernet, LTE or 5G without changing application code.
Traffic travels directly between peers where network conditions permit, with identity-based addressing and end-to-end encryption using X25519 and ChaCha20-Poly1305. Teams manage devices, join codes and access rules through a web dashboard, while Docker support and DDS configuration simplify deployment. The architecture is used for remote development, telemetry, fleet access and robot operation across separate sites and private networks.

- 2023-11-14 - Product Launch - Husarnet introduces ROS 2 Router for remote robotics
The router bridges ROS 2 nodes across robots, servers and laptops without changing DDS settings. It adds topic filtering so operators can choose which ROS 2 interfaces are exposed to remote hosts. The image integrates eProsima DDSRouter with the Husarnet VPN client for remote robotics networking.
