LG CNS designs enterprise AI, cloud, smart-factory and logistics systems for industrial customers. Its logistics work integrates depalletising robots, autonomous case-handling systems, mobile robots, storage equipment and warehouse software from inbound receipt through line supply, finished-goods storage and dispatch.
At HD Hyundai Electric's Cheongju plant, LG CNS connected high-density pallet and tote storage with AMRs and an integrated control layer, allowing routes to change with production layouts. The company also develops digital twins, data platforms and Robotics Transformation services, delivering design, systems integration and operational support across manufacturing, logistics, defence and healthcare sites.

- 2026-08-13 - Partnership - LG Electronics joins NVIDIA’s expanded robotics collaboration
The bipedal robot targeted an unveiling in the first quarter of 2027, combining Jetson Thor, Isaac GR00T and Halos for Robotics. LG Electronics would provide actuators, LG Innotek sensors and LG Energy Solution batteries for the reference robot. A CLOiD proof of concept was planned for the Tennessee washing-machine line during 2026; LG CNS PhysicalWorks would support robot-data collection, training and validation.

The initial work will evaluate manufacturing and logistics use cases at LG operations and LG CNS customers in the United States. A joint pilot will document workflows, collect data, perform post-training and validate a deployment playbook. The companies plan a later multi-phase rollout across LG affiliates and LG CNS customers in labour-intensive industries.

The shuttle robot supports four-way movement, high-density storage and loads up to 3,307 pounds. LG CNS said hundreds of shuttle robots were already operating at LG Group affiliate plants in North America.
