About ATOM Humanoid
ATOM is building a vertically coordinated humanoid programme around robot hardware, foundation-model development and large-scale interaction data. The company is also co-developing components with Japanese suppliers rather than relying solely on an imported hardware stack.
Atom Foundry is the programme's data-collection centre, designed to generate physical-world training material for embodied models. The company was established in Tokyo in November 2025 and is led by founder and chief executive Shunsuke Aoki. Its August 2026 bank financing is debt, not an equity funding round.
