About Liebherr-Aerospace
Liebherr-Aerospace is the Liebherr Group's aircraft-systems business, coordinated through Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS in Toulouse. It develops, manufactures and supports flight-control and actuation systems, landing gear, gearboxes, thermal and environmental-control systems, and onboard electronics. The equipment serves commercial and regional aircraft, business jets, helicopters, defence platforms and newer electric-aircraft programmes.
Its role is that of a certified subsystem supplier across an aircraft's life cycle. Liebherr works with airframers and engine manufacturers on system design, qualification, integration, production and service. For advanced air mobility, an agreement with Eve Air Mobility covers electromechanical actuators for the eVTOL's aileron, elevator and rudder. Liebherr provides those flight-critical mechanisms and associated engineering; the aircraft manufacturer retains the vehicle architecture, flight controls at programme level and certification responsibility.

- 2025-10-28 - Partnership - Wisk selects Liebherr for Generation 6 actuation system
Liebherr will provide electromechanical actuation for Generation 6 flaperons, elevators and rudders as well as the propulsion system's tilt angle. The long-term agreement covers development, certification and full-rate scaled production. Liebherr is adapting its modular LiVCAS flight-control system for the smaller all-electric aircraft architecture and will manufacture the hardware primarily in Germany.
