About LuminWave
LuminWave is a Hangzhou-based sensing company founded in 2018 that develops and manufactures LiDAR, three-dimensional cameras and perception solutions. Its portfolio combines FMCW LiDAR for autonomous vehicles, solid-state LiDAR for mobile robots and low-speed vehicles, and industrial ToF cameras for robot guidance. Applications include pallet identification, depalletizing, grasping, safety-area monitoring and precision positioning. The company supplies sensing hardware and supporting algorithms to equipment manufacturers and integrators.
Its camera offering extends from industrial DM and DM-SE systems to the compact DM-Mini, introduced in October 2026 for robot wrists, hands and arm ends. DM-Mini combines near-field depth sensing, RGB imaging and a SerDes interface; samples and technical cooperation are open. The camera measures 60 × 29 × 30 mm and weighs approximately 80 g, with a stated depth range of 0.04–1 m. LuminWave specifies 4 mm depth accuracy at 0.5–1 m, RGB output up to 1600 × 1200 and up to 30 fps. A SerDes interface supports compact robot wiring; an IMU and custom module delivery are optional.
