Midwest Engineered Systems designs and integrates custom automation for manufacturing operations. Its work spans robotic welding, material handling, machine tending, assembly, dispensing, inspection and test, with in-house teams covering mechanical and electrical engineering, fabrication, controls, robot programming, installation and production support.
The company also packages repeatable welding systems around its EasyArc interface, which lets operators create jobs and set weld positions and parameters from the robot pendant without writing conventional robot code. Configurations include arc and laser-welding cells, positioners, safety enclosures and process equipment from major automation suppliers. Projects range from stand-alone cells to linked lines tailored to a customer's parts and throughput.

MWES acquired the Waukesha facility in September 2024. The building contains about 98,000 square feet of space. The expansion adds capacity for automation projects and company growth.
