About Molfar Defence Technologies
Molfar Defence Technologies develops tactical radar systems for finding, locating and continuously tracking small aerial threats. The system is designed around low-altitude targets that conventional air-defence infrastructure can struggle to distinguish, including low-observability drones, autonomous aircraft and coordinated swarms. Its output provides target coordinates and tracks that can feed a wider defensive response.
Signal processing filters birds, weather and low-altitude ground clutter to reduce false detections, while the radar is designed to operate in rain, fog, snow and wind. Configurations cover either a 90-degree sector or a full 360-degree area, and a low-probability-of-detection design reduces the chance that an adversary can locate the radar itself. The Polish-Ukrainian company is working with defence users on field validation and adaptation to battlefield conditions; its current commercial stage centres on technical briefings, cooperation and deployment development.

Front Ventures committed EUR 1.5 million as lead and first institutional investor in Molfar's EUR 2 million first round.
