About NEO Battery Materials
NEO Battery Materials combines silicon-anode development with a battery electrode and cell foundry. Its NBMSiDE material uses a coating designed to accommodate silicon's expansion during cycling and improve contact with liquid carbonate electrolytes. The manufacturing approach uses a single-step solution coating process without high-temperature, high-pressure or vacuum processing. Development covers both silicon nanoparticles and metallurgical-grade silicon microparticles.
The foundry business connects these materials to application-specific electrodes and cells, with engineering support extending through system integration. Customers can commission batteries around the energy and charging requirements of their equipment. This places NEO across several stages of the battery supply chain, from active anode material to custom cells for drones, robots, electronics and energy storage.

The Army order covers military-grade drone battery packs for field validation and use and is NEO’s first direct agreement with a South Korean military unit.
