About NC AI
NC AI develops foundation models and applied AI systems following its 2025 separation from NCSoft. Its robotics work includes General Motion Tracking, human-to-robot motion retargeting and data-generation pipelines that convert human movement into training material for humanoid control.
In September 2026, an NC AI and LG Electronics consortium was selected for Korea's K-On-Device AI semiconductor humanoid project. NC AI is responsible for motion-transfer and learning-data infrastructure within a programme targeting autonomous humanoids powered by domestic AI chips.

The consortium is developing an autonomous humanoid that runs on a Korean on-device AI semiconductor. NC AI owns the motion-retargeting pipeline and initial training-data work package. The programme combines robot hardware, data, AI models and low-power domestic compute in one development system.

The selection followed NC AI's February 2025 spin-off from NCSOFT. The consortium includes research institutes, universities and industrial companies, including HL Robotics. NC AI links its multimodal and 3D-vision research base to industrial foundation-model development.
