About Okibo
Okibo's EG7 is a battery-powered construction robot for painting, coating, plastering, sanding and drywall finishing. An onboard three-dimensional scanner builds a real-time model of the work area, allowing the robot to plan its motion without BIM files, external total stations, site markings or a network connection.
The 27-inch-wide omnidirectional base fits through standard doors and carries its own pump, five-kilowatt-hour battery and 18-gallon material hopper. A detachable manipulator and quick-change tools switch between spraying and sanding, with the hopper cage replaced by a dust collector for abrasive work. Okibo rates average finishing output at 1,000 square feet per hour and reports more than one million square feet completed across European and American sites.
