About Okibo
Okibo builds mobile construction robots for wall and ceiling finishing. EG7 scans the work area, creates a three-dimensional model and plans tool motion without a BIM file or external total station. Quick-change tooling supports spraying, plastering and sanding, and the compact omnidirectional base carries its material system through standard interior access routes.
The BLASTER dual-nozzle attachment became commercially available in February 2026 for EG7 and EG7+. Okibo reported a Jacksonville deployment for painting and priming, alongside ceiling-sanding work up to 3.3 metres. The company is registering pre-orders in Europe and the United States, so claimed productivity and height figures remain tied to the named attachment, robot configuration and published demonstrations.

Okibo introduced the BLASTER (Broad Layer Airless Spray Technology for Efficiency & Repeatability) gun on February 11, 2026. Designed for the EG7 and EG7+ autonomous robots, this dual-nozzle system covers a four-foot board width up to 24 feet high in two passes. The BLASTER-equipped EG7+ was deployed on a major construction project in Jacksonville, FL.

EG7+ targets sanding, painting, and Level 4 drywall finishing. The robot reaches 24 feet and can finish an average of 1,000 square feet per hour. The launch followed a premiere at Hensel Phelps' Federal and AEC Innovation Day in Phoenix.
