About PitPro Automation
PitPro Automation develops a purpose-built robotic tire-service system that fits an existing shop bay or fleet depot. The system automates the heavy wheel-handling steps of tire changes and rotations while technicians retain the surrounding diagnostic and customer-service work. PitPro also offers field maintenance, monitoring and software support for installed systems.
The San Francisco company moved beyond pilot work in September 2026 with its first production installation at a Kal Tire store in Calgary. Its website targets tire retailers, dealers and high-volume vehicle fleets, initially for Class 3 vehicles and smaller. PitPro states that a four-tire change or rotation takes less than 15 minutes; additional customer installations are planned.
