About Provizio

Provizio develops a software perception layer for automotive and robotic radar. MIMSO exposes and manages radar functions as software-defined building blocks, while 5D Perception applies machine-learning models to raw returns to generate object and environmental information for advanced driver assistance, autonomy and robotaxi systems.

The architecture is designed to run across radar chips and modules from different points in the supply chain, allowing features and perception models to be updated over the air. Provizio works through technology licensing and production partnerships with semiconductor suppliers, Tier 1 integrators, vehicle manufacturers and operators. Its focus is extracting higher-resolution spatial and motion understanding from radar for systems seeking all-weather sensing and reduced dependence on lidar.
