About Remotion
Remotion builds magnetic crawling robots for inspection, cleaning and maintenance on steel structures above and below water. Its vehicles adhere to vertical, overhead and curved ferromagnetic surfaces, carrying cameras, non-destructive-testing sensors and tools into hull, tank and offshore areas that would otherwise require divers, scaffolding or rope access.
The hydraulic Hercules works to 100 metres depth with a 100-kilogram payload and 1,600-kilogram magnetic holding force, supporting hull cleaning, inspection and subsea cutting. The electric Achilles uses four-wheel steering and adaptive magnetic suspension for complex geometry, while Zeus carries hydro-blasting, pressure-washing or grit-blasting tools on exposed structures. Remotion supplies the robots with topside control, umbilicals, deployment equipment and project services.
