About Renault Group
Renault Group designs and manufactures vehicles through Renault, Dacia, Alpine and Mobilize. Its industrial operations connect vehicle engineering, powertrains, software and large-scale manufacturing across stamping, body assembly, painting, battery and final-assembly processes.
Factories use industrial robots and automated handling for welding, joining, inspection and material movement, integrated with production software and human workstations. The group also experiments with mobile and collaborative systems for flexible tasks. Renault's robotics activity is an internal manufacturing capability developed with equipment partners, supporting vehicle production rather than a standalone robot business.

Renault brings automotive industrial engineering and manufacturing capacity to Thales’ Toutatis drone program. The partners said production could begin as early as 2027 with capacity of 1,000 units per month from the first year.
