About Robotous
RFT sensors measure forces and moments across three translational and three rotational axes, allowing a robot to detect how a tool or gripped object interacts with its environment. This feedback supports insertion, polishing, assembly, testing and other processes in which position control alone cannot account for contact variation.
Robotous supplies multiple sensor sizes and ranges, along with digital interfaces including EtherCAT options. The sensor normally sits between a robot wrist and its tooling or inside a measurement fixture, converting mechanical loads into real-time data for compliance control, quality monitoring and safety functions.
