Skyworks supplies semiconductor components that condition wireless signals and connect electronic systems. Its RF front-end products support radios using technologies such as Bluetooth and sub-gigahertz links, helping equipment designers build communications into compact connected devices.

The portfolio also addresses the electronics around those radios and processors. Digital isolators separate electrical domains in industrial equipment, timing devices provide clock signals, and power products support embedded-system design. Customers integrate these components into their own boards and modules for industrial, automotive and communications applications. Skyworks’s role in automation is therefore primarily within the equipment’s communications, signal and electrical-control hardware.

    Skyworks announced the Si86Px digital-isolator family with integrated isolated dc-dc conversion and a matched miniature transformer. The family is designed to reduce PCB area, bill-of-material count and design complexity in industrial and automotive electronics. Skyworks lists 0.1 percent typical load regulation, up to 150 Mbps data rates and 100 kV/us common-mode transient immunity for noisy motor-drive and industrial environments.

  • 2025-10-28 - Acquisition - Skyworks signs agreement to acquire Qorvo in cash-and-stock transaction

    The consideration combines cash and Skyworks shares, with Qorvo investors retaining a minority ownership position in the combined semiconductor company.
