About Synthera

Synthera develops Chameleon, a self-hosted platform for creating synthetic image and video datasets for computer-vision training. A drag-and-drop scene builder lets domain specialists arrange assets, lighting and digital humans, while hybrid 3D and generative rendering introduces controlled variation. The platform produces bounding boxes, semantic and instance segmentation, keypoints, depth, surface normals, optical flow and other annotations for export into existing machine-learning pipelines.

Chameleon runs on customer hardware, including air-gapped environments, so sensitive scenes and intellectual property need not leave the organisation. Robotics teams can model warehouse navigation, PPE and hazard detection, human-machine separation, camera placement, route mapping and pose prediction, including synchronised multi-camera views. Synthera was formed in 2025 around the acquisition of Mindtech and says the inherited platform has supplied more than one million training images. Its roadmap extends the data workflow into dataset management, evaluation and drift analysis.
